The road taken by Femi Adebayo Salami to create "Jagun Jagun" is evidence of his tenacity and everlasting faith in his artistic vision.

In southwest Nigeria, a month was spent filming Jagun Jagun.The actress Bukunmi Oluwasina revealed that Femi Adebayo Salami chose her for the role in the movie a year before it began shooting. She also lauded the movie's production, calling it a "monumental undertaking"

According to Femi Adebayo, who previously created King of Thieves, Jagun Jagun's goal was to outdo the success and accomplishments of King of Thieves.

The Netflix release of Jagun Jagun on August 10th, 2023 received positive reviews. It started trending in the UK and seventeen other nations within 48 hours of its publication.
